Shan Addison

Shan Addison, RN, BSN, CVRN-BC, CLCP

Shan Addison has been a Registered Nurse in Texas since 2010. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.

Shan has been active in the health care field since 1995, focusing her work on orthopedics, cardiology, and rehabilitation, with an emphasis on acute and chronic conditions. She served as a network educator for the Versant Nursing Residency Program at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin from 2012 – 2016, and served as a clinical co-instructor in the nursing program at Austin Community College from 2014 – 2016. She is a Certified Life Care Planner. Since 2017, she has been involved in Life Care Plan development including reviewing medical records and participating in client interviews.

Shan is a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professions (IARP), the American Nursing Association (ANA), the Association of Certified Life Care Planners (ACLCP), and the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP). She holds certifications in Cardiovascular Nursing and Life Care Planning, and is certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine and the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC).

Outside of her career, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places via RV, and long-distance running.
